Day-to-Day Responsibilities

The Materials & Receiving Team Member role centers on supporting efficient warehouse and production operations. You’ll handle inventory and move materials using equipment like forklifts and barcode scanners.

Every shift, you’ll unload inbound shipments, organize materials, and stage products for outbound orders. Processing orders and verifying shipments are key daily tasks.

Cycle counting inventory and handling product discrepancies will also be part of your workflow. Maintaining a clean and safe environment is essential in this role.

Your attention to detail will help ensure orders are packaged, processed, and shipped accurately and on time. Continuous improvement is a valued part of your responsibilities.

Staying organized, completing documentation, and collaborating with the team are crucial for the success of the production line and customer satisfaction.

Pros of the Position

One major advantage is the regular day shift from Monday to Friday, allowing for work-life balance with no weekends required. Pay starts above $20 per hour with increases after 90 days.

The benefits package is comprehensive, including medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, PTO, 401(k) with profit sharing, and even a free on-site gym. Employee assistance programs and meal subsidies add extra value.

Cons of the Position

The work is physically demanding, with frequent lifting and working in environments that can get hot or humid. You’ll also need to be safety-focused and able to stand or walk for long periods.

Forklift experience is required, so this role may not be suitable for those new to warehouse work or unfamiliar with machinery. Volume and pace can be high during peak times.

Our Verdict

If you have warehouse experience, a good work ethic, and a desire for reliable hours and significant benefits, this is an attractive opportunity. Room for growth and stability are strong points.

This job is ideal for those who thrive in structured, hands-on environments and value a supportive, team-driven company culture with a history of employee satisfaction.
